Music Industry in Indonesia

1. Indonesian music has so many musical genres.
2. Most of the musicians band brought the genre of Malayan Pop or Electro Pop.
3. Some musicians often labeled “ALAY” if it has a low quality music and bad style.
4. [from Wikipedia] ‘ALAY’ is a pop culture phenomenon in Indonesia. It is a stereotype describing something “tacky” and “cheesy.” The Alay culture phenomena spans over a wide array of styles in music, dress, and messaging. It has often been compared to that of the Jejemon phenomenon originating from the Philippines. Although, the former emerged much later and the latter was even admired in the west.
5. Many teens who have a high taste in music usually appreciating Jazz musicians in Indonesia. I think their musicallity really deserves thumbs up.
6. Top Indonesian Jazz musicians are usually invited in many small nor big youth events.
7. Dangdut is the Most Popular Music genre in Indonesia. Derived from Malayan, Indian and Indonesian traditional music elements.
8. Dangdut music has a lot of fans. However, the quality of music is the number one. Dangdut musicians (female) with sexy cheap style are tend to have much anti-fans and usually often used as an adult jokes LOL.
9. Many of musicians releasing “Ramadhan Special Single/Album” for holy Ramadhan month. Ramadan is the 9th month of the Moslem year which is celebrated from beginning to end with fasting.
10. Indonesian musicians has so many fans in Malaysia, even though both countries were involved in their disputes for so long (not my capacity to explain more.) Malaysian musicians receives a very lacking of spotlight in their country.
11. No matter how bad your idols, had a scandal, legal cases, drugs even player LOL. Their musical quality remains the number one that people always appreciating and gaining attention
12. Most of the bands that split or separated by a problem would be difficult to develop again.
13. Teen soloist has so many fans especially for female soloist. Because the quality of their music and good style, that’s why people loved them.
14. Partially of the celebrities sometimes debuted as a singer because it makes money too while their job begin to decrease. Most of them are not being taking seriously in the music industry. They’re just burst for a momment then easily disappear.
15. Statement above applies too for sensational Youtube Artist.
16. Indonesian loves K-Pop wave so much with their music, drama and culture. K-Pop concert tickets are always sold out at a glance.
17. But people hating Indonesian girl/boygroups that imitates much of K-Pop concept with low quality (almost of them.) They have a lot of anti-fans and decreasing the quality of Indonesian music. People considered such a ‘humiliating’ if K-Pop idols know about them.
18. Most people labeled and bashed them as “ALAY” and they being called FAG (sorry) for boygroups.
19. But rookie boygroup “S4″ is an exception, formed in a talent search show. They have been trained by CUBE Ent. and released a new song with sexy rapper HyunA (4Minute) some time ago. Proved they have a lot  of fangirl here.
20. Indonesian also like J-Pop and Japanese musicians, J-Pop has it’s own fans. There is some sister group outside of Japan, one of them also based in Jakarta and they have a huge of fanboy here.
21. There is a musician who reallly don’t like piracy. For me it’s such an useless thing, just like giving a preservative chemicals in food as much as you want which is still moldy.
22. I think musicians should give a better alternative to avoid piracy downloader than the fear of lossing income LOL.
23. But i guess piracy indirectly makes more money for musicians itself right?
24. There is an unwritten rule; musicians can gain popularity easier with some sensation but their future career and musical quality are umpteen numbers

Dear Single Girl

I don’t know you personally, yet, but there are a few things I want to tell you with the hope that I will get to know you some day.

Actually, there are 5 things I want you to know:

1. How to get a man’s attention. The guy that you are looking for isn’t attracted to charm as much as he is Godliness because beauty fades but Godliness GROWS (1 Peter 3:3-5). I know that the culture will tell you that guys are turned away and intimidated by girls that love Jesus and have strong values and convictions. Culture is wrong; boys may be turned away by strong convictions, but men are not. Be the woman God has called you to be, and a godly man will notice.

2. Run from “Prince Charming”. Some girls seem to give attention to every smooth talker and cool dresser that comes their way. Please don’t do that; be patient and wait on a man who is concerned with pursuing Jesus, not another trophy. Only give the GROWING, God fearing man a chance to pursue you. Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain (Prov 31:30).

3. I am just a guy, not a god. A guy will crumble under the weight of being your god. No other person can complete you or make you happy. There are lots of great physical and emotional benefits that come from a relationship, but none of it is enough to sustain a healthy loving marriage if your faith is not in Jesus. No guy will complete you, so don’t put him on that pedestal (he will fall).

4. Don’t wait on me, pursue Jesus. From my male perspective, there is nothing more attractive than a woman being obedient to Jesus and taking the risk to follow Jesus wherever He leads. Too many times I notice girls in the church just sitting and waiting on a man to come and rescue them from a life of boredom. When it comes time for me to pick a partner, I want somebody that can follow me on an adventure, not someone that is used to doing nothing and complaining about the fact that no one is interested in them. Pursue Jesus and I will pursue you when He gives me the green light.

5. Time is not running out. Singleness is a gift, not a curse. You want to be beautiful? Put your hope in God and don’t give way to fear; trust his timing (1 John 4:18). Don’t waste your single years by always waiting on what is next and turning yourself into a man chaser. Let’s follow God right now and trust Him to take care of the next. God is sovereign and able to direct both of us to each other when the time is right.

She’s the one who’s got that look on her face when she’s in worship, that look that shows you can tell where her focus is in that moment. Eyes closed and hands raised, or perhaps she is sitting in stillness and silence. Either way, you can see a light in her that isn’t like anything you’ve ever seen. She’s the one who isn’t afraid to fall to her knees or dance in the joy of the LORD.

She’s in it, she’s in love with Love Himself.

This girl has some serious self-respect; she doesn’t parade around announcing her flaws in hopes of reassurance or compliments. She knows that she was created in His image and no matter what society says; she is beautiful. She doesn’t need anyone to remind her. She knows how intricately created she is, placing her self-worth in Christ and Christ alone.

A girl who loves the LORD isn’t going to be caught up in pointless things. She doesn’t flip through the channels of the TV searching for the latest soap opera. She doesn’t mindlessly watch trashy movies, lusting over the lead actor. She isn’t flipping through the pages of a unrealistic romance novel, hoping and wishing that it comes to life. She’s studying and learning. She’s thinking and engaging with the world around her. She’s reading His Word and applying it to her life and how she interacts with others. This girl isn’t wasting her God-given gifts on the world and it’s pleasures, she’s using them toward the advancement of His Kingdom, all for the Glory of the LORD.

If you end up dating her, consider yourself blessed because you know God gave her to you. The LORD has selected her especially for you and prepared the both of you for each other. She’s not the kind of girl who pines for the next guy to come into her life. No, she is patient. She waits upon the LORD and His timing. She does not complain or become anxious, for she knows that Christ is her focus above all things.

Pray for her. Pray with her.

This is one of the greatest gifts you can offer her. Read the Bible with her. Tell her about the things God is doing in your life. She cares, and she loves to hear them. Teach her with the wisdom of Solomon, lead her like Moses with a faith like Abraham. She will search you to see if you have David’s heart for God. But most of all, you must love her with the Love of Christ Himself because a girl who loves Jesus is very special. She is bold like Esther, hospitable like Lydia, submissive like Mary and she consistently thrives to align her life with the very words found in Proverbs 31. Scripture is her daily bread, and she grows off of God’s consistent grace and compassion.

Date a girl who loves Jesus more than she will ever love you. Date a girl who acknowledges her God-given mission in life and the priority it has over all things. Know that God has placed you by her side for a reason; you’re in this together and God has plans for the both of you. You’re in good hands as long as you stay within the center of God’s will. This girl will keep you on the Holy path, and trusts you will be honest with you when you are struggling…because she always will. Date a girl who loves Jesus because He loves you, and He just wants the best for you.

1.Judul Lagu Terpanjang

Hoagy Carmichael yang menulis lagu ini di tahun 1943 akhirnya membongkar rahasia kalau lagu itu awalnya hanya berjudul I’m a Cranky Old Yank namun karena ingin membuat lelucon maka judul lagu itupun ditambah lagi dengan beberapa kata. 

2. Musisi Peraih Grammy Awards Terbanyak 
Michael Jackson tercatat sebagai musisi yang berhasil meraih piala Grammy terbanyak dalam sejarah. Hingga akhir hayatnya, ia berhasil mengumpulkan 8 piala bergengsi ini.

3. Komposisi Piano Terpanjang dalam Sejarah 
Komposisi piano terpanjang dalam sejarah adalah komposisi karya Erik Satie yang berjudul Vexations. Ada 180 not dalam komposisi ini dan sesuai dengan urutan yang dibuat sang pencipta, lagu ini harus diulang sampai 840 kali.

Tanggal 9 Februari 1909 tercatat sebagai hari bersejarah bagi lagu kebangsaan Inggris. Pada hari itu lagu 'God Save The King' dimainkan 17 kali berturut-turut oleh band militer Jerman di stasiun kereta api Rathenau, Brandenburg.
